Matt and Annette

This is Matt posting for us this week. We had a good week although I think we both were hoping that with our increased effort we would see a little more. But we are both happy with our results. Annette is doing wonderful. She had the most will power I have ever seen. She also is a huge help to me with the food part and also motivating and pushing me to do more and more! This week she lost 2 lbs for a total of 13. Her total percentage is now 7.9 percent at the end of week 5.
I had a butt kicking this week and worked real hard. My body still only wanted to give my 5 lbs but I will take it. Going to even go harsher this week in an all out assault to try to get to my 30lb mark. At week 4 I am at 23lb and 7.9%. LETS GO GET 7lbs this week!!!!

PAR-TAY!!!!!

We (Matt & Annette) are planning on attending. Question: Adults only, or kids also? I can't wait to see how HOT everybody is!

Here is the thought that Matt & I have had. This would be a great time to get checks from everyone and get the prize money all ready to go. I can pick up checks from everybody. I promise not to cash them until after I win!!!!!!

See you Sunday!

Nettie :-)

Who is comming?

Alicia and mom and dad Deakins are coming on Sunday. Is anyone else?

Not much change

Paul and I slowed down a little this week. I only lost 1 lb. (I am sure making chocolate chip cookies and eating most of the dough didn't help) that makes me at a total of 11 lbs. lost 6.6%. I did check my measurements and have lost a total of 5 inches, I'll take that. Paul has amazing self control and wheel power, but his body decided to fight back this week from all the torture, lossing only 1 lb. with a total of 19.5 lbs. 8.2%. I'll I can say I am glad we share pocket books, what's his is mine and what's mine is mine. :o)

Matt & Annette 1/23....

We continue to work hard. Sometimes wondering if it is hard enough... Watching all of you gets over whelming!! I may have to stop eating all together to catch you guys!
Matt is down another 5 pounds this week to a total of 18 lost (6.2%) in 3 weeks. I had some loss this week. I would have liked to seen more after NOTHING last week. But I will take 3 pounds how ever I can get them! So that takes me to a total of 11 pounds (6.7%) in 4 weeks.
But I am certain that the rest of you will run out of weight to lose soon and then Matt & I will sneak up from behind and take the lead. Better watch your backs!

Poor Courtney

I think my biggest motivation for losing weight has got to be for the benefit of my husband. He's already lost about 20 pounds and is practically withering away to nothing! I think my weight may be affecting our love life.

Finally seeing some droppage.....

Droppage....is that a word??? Well it is now! After being inspired from the rest of you and your successes, I have finally had a little weight come off. Angela shared a diet/eating plan that she is on and we are both doing it together. So far the results are good. My biggest hurdle is trying to fit in exercise. I have no excuse other that I'm a lazy turd. Court has been doing PX90 several times a week, and at first I was joining him. But, dang it's hard! I think I will still to my jogs down to the lake. Much more enjoyable for me. Good job to all of you! See you on the 31st at Paul & Angie's.

Angie- Family Fatty Party

I made an error. Sunday is January 31st.

Matt & Annette

So what does eating close to nothing and working your butt off daily get you? Well, that depends...If you're Matt, it gets you another 5 pounds lost. If you're Annette, it means absolutely nothing!!!!! At the end of his week 2, Matt is down another 5 pounds for a total of 13 (4.7%) and Annette is unchanged at the end of her 3rd week. If this were the TV show, I would be below the yellow line and probably being voted off. Thank goodness you all cannot eliminate me!

Come have some fun and healthy food

I would like to invite everyone and their families to our home on Sunday, Jan. 30th at 5:00. It may be a little crowded but fun. We will be having healthy snack foods and playing games. If those who are coming could bring a healthy snack and a game, it would help with having more variety to pick from. Please let me know if you can come. Thanks, and hope to see you all there.

Paul

Yes Matt when your done you can look just like this guy! If that ain't motivation, I don't know what is!

Paul & Angie

Wow! Has anyone seen where all the fat went too? Week 3 has come and gone so fast, but not as fast as all the chub dropping off! Angie this week has now lost a total of 10 lbs making that 6% vanished off the face of the earth. Paul is doing ok too, with a total lost of 18.2lbs and 7.7%. (But who's counting?)

Annette...

So either my body or my scale played a really bad joke on me.... At one time it reported that I had a significant loss that first week! It was too good to be true! So from here on out, I will be using the scale at the gym - it seems to be a bit more reliable! According to that scale, I am down 8.2 pounds equaling 5% loss.

Good work everybody. Regardless of who wins, we will all look hot at the beach this summer! :-)

But just for a little incentive, here is what you are up against...

Thanks Annette for setting up this blog. It will be great to see how everyone is progressing. I hate to admit I might be off to a bit of a slower start than the rest of you fat-fighting-fools...but I will post my stats on Monday and hopefully see some progress! Monday is the day Court and I have been weighing in. Good luck everyone!

Angie and Paul

Great job Matt! The hard work really does pay off. Paul and I have been trying to eat better as well, we have been eating a lot more chicken and turkey and cutting back on the carbs. I am trying to exercise daily, Paul doesn't have to exercise at home much because he is doing it all day at work.
As of Sunday it has been two weeks for us. Paul has lots 12 lbs. and that is about 5.1 % of his body weight. I lost 8.4 lbs. and that equalled 5 % of mine.
I am anxious to see how everyone is doing. Good Luck! Your going to need it.

Matt week 1

Week went well. Cut my calories to 1700 per day with cardiovascular and weight training. We are eating Every three hours and this seems to be helping my late night hunger. It is difficult to get into the habit of eating when I get up, but at this point I am forcing myself.
Was happy with my week one results. I lost 8lbs which was about 2.8%. My goal over the competition is to try to reach 5lbs per week. I know after a few weeks this will get more difficult.
For this week my goal is to maintain my 1700 cal a day menu and also work out 6 of the 7 days. My next weigh in will be Saturday January 16.
Thanks for the support and good luck to all of you in your weight loss goals!
Matt

Everybody blog!!!!

So I am trying to make this as easy ass possible. I think I fixed it so we can all add our own blog entries. Let's see if this works!

Off and running....

Okay, maybe we are not all running, but we are on our way to a slimmer, healthier, more active life. And for one of us, a fatter wallet!

Because we all live so far away from each other, this will be our way to keep the competition going - see where everyone is at in their progress and keep us all accountable. We can cheer each other on, trash talk, or what ever it takes to achieve our goals. Check back for at least weekly updates on each of your competitors!
